Leo was on his way to the slaughterhouse when we rescued him. He had a bit of a rearing issue, so we believe his previous owners were afraid of him. A bit of training and a lot of riding later, Leo now leads trail rides, competes in barrel racing at the rodeo, and has appeared in numerous commercials for Steamboat Resort. Leo has a forever home here with his family at Routt County Horse Rescue.
